The Monarchy of Tycortua: The nation in which the first book of the Ember King’s Inheritance — Nocturne of Fog — is set. Located in the south of the continent of Chevaladin, on the western edge of the Lataoccas supercontinent. A monarchy with a rich history that has lasted in some form for two millennia, using the legacy of one of Chevaladin’s saviors to give them strength and tradition. Fairly isolationist, they have weathered difficult times thanks to this autonomy keeping them self-relient.
