As stated in my previous post, here’s a collection of my thoughts on Trails in the Sky so far, just to keep myself in the Lawful-Sky box. I’ll give a more thorough discussion later because I do absolutely adore the games so far (I actually think the 3rd is shaping up to be my favorite). There isn’t much from FC or SC, and I apologize for that, but I didn’t stat till now, so… you know. Also, I did start Zero while ‘m wrapping up 3rd, since I figure I can at least make it through the prologue before any serious cross of information happens. As a first impression, I may need to make — stealing this terminology from a friend in a DnD group I’m in — a list of grievances. Without further ado:

SC:
Ok, but when the 3rd Anguis was designing his little Sanctuary on the Glorious, did he not realize he was making a villain room when he installed the wall-length pipe organ and glowy red pillars with the Ouroboros symbol or not care?

3rd:

Me: “Alright, this is 3rd. I don’t need to use Joshua and Estelle anymore, so I should try out some new characters.”
Also me: “Heck yeah! It’s Joshua! Goodbye, Mueller.”

“I don’t need to use Anelace.”
*Jinu*
“I need to use Anelace.”

The 3rd spoiler out of context:
“Colonel Richard? You can’t be serious!”
“I am serious. And don’t call me Colonel.”
Or, for a crossover *no one* will get:
“As a matter of fact, it doesn’t say Colonel on my uniform.” [Footnote 1]

“Hmm. ‘Sakura Morning Moon’. Sounds kinda cool. Wonder what it does. A crit turn against this Archdevil seems like a good chance to try it out.”
18,000 damage
“I SEE.”

“Oh, so Star Door 8 is an Olivier door? And it’s about a ‘beast he wants to overcome’? This should be fun! it’ll probably be a silly drinking scene with Schera and Aina.”
“Oh.”

Gotta say: love the whole reflected words thing in ‘the Looking Glass’. Really fun to bring up a phone screen (or my Switch) to see them proper.

“Alright! Last boss in the Impregnable Fortress! I’ve been waiting for this, they’ve been hyping it up, let’s go!”
“Oh yeah, Silver Will. Can it get better than this?”
“Oh shoot, he’s using his S-Craft. Well, Kevin’s a little low but I’ll probably be fine as long as it doesn’t–“
*Near-wipe to Phoenix Wave*
“Oh. Oh. Well I guess I’m restarting.”

Footnote 1: It’s a perfect analogy, Ouroboros as Goa’uld.
Footnote 1A: They are merely fictional characters, Neurotic Hermit. — the Twisted Jerk
